AMA Opposes Minit Clinics run by NPs

Not surprisingly the American Medical Association is speaking out against the so-called Minit Clinics – retail based clinics such as those run by Wal-Mart, CVS, and Walgreen and staffed primarily by advanced practice nurses (APNs) – claiming that they “disrupt the standard physician-patient relationship and might result in missed diagnosis.” Read more.
